CJS is awarded a contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District for GIS Support
The COE Seattle District office requested augmented support for the Geotechnical & Environmental Restoration Branch in GIS support. CJS provided a professional GIS Technician to fill this requirement for this district. He is an integrated part of their team providing GIS drawings of the area covered by this district.

CJS is awarded a five-year subcontract with General Dynamic Information Technology at Fort Irwin for Environmental Support
CJS provided a Sr. Environmental Specialist onsite at the National Training Center (NTC) Fort Irwin, to assist in the development of their Sustainability and Renewable Resources programs, as well as extend their Environmental Management System ISO 14001 certification to all commands on the base. She was recognized by the Garrison Commander for her efforts on the Recycling Program.

CJS is awarded a contract with Marine Corps Air Station Miramar for Long Term Ecosystem Monitoring Support
The project consists of bird point counts at 75 point locations or similar effort establishing of new point count transects along roads with Station representative approval, small mammal trapping arrays at 16 locations, pit fall trap arrays for reptiles and amphibians at 16 locations, bat surveys at 16 locations, and spotlight surveys along 4 established routes for collecting data on deer and other nocturnal mammals.
This project includes all document review, field investigations, appropriate Global Positioning System (GPS) mapping, Geographic Information System (GIS) coverage and database development in accordance with Station requirements, statistical analysis, ecological examination, and report preparation necessary to complete LTEM surveys on Station.

CJS is awarded a contract with Marine Corps Air Station Miramar for California Gnatcatcher Survey Support
This project includes all document review, field investigations, Global Positioning System (GPS) mapping, Geographic Information System (GIS) layer and database development, statistical analysis, ecological examination, and report preparation necessary to complete CAGN surveys on Station. The information/data to be provided will be collected by identifying all potentially suitable CAGN habitat on Station and conducting three (3) CAGN surveys of the suitable habitat identified.

CJS is awarded the first of many contracts with Document Automation Production Services (DAPS) Jacksonville for Multi-Medial Job Performance Aids Development Support
CJS provides all labor and materials need to develop Multi-Media Job Performance Aids for DAPS clients to include all services within DOD. CJS works with client Subject Matter Experts to capture their knowledge on how to perform a critical step within a process. This information is then presented in the form of electronic media imbedded inside Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). As of May 12, 2009, CJS has received contracts to develop 49 Job Performance Aids totaling over two million dollars.

CJS is awarded a subcontract with Tetra Tech to develop a muliti-media Web and Computer Based Hazardous Waste Awareness Training Course
CJS is tasked with converting a hardcopy training course into a web and computer based training course for use at Vandenberg AFB. The course will include text, narration, graphics, pictures, and a test to enhance the training experience.

At the USACE Los Angeles District CJS provides a Sharepoint Data Management specialist developing their online document management system. This professional works with the end users providing support and training, upgrades and database and document management for the district.

CJS is awarded a five-year contract with the General Services Agency (GSA), Auburn, WA for CADD Support
CJS provides Computerized Aided Drawing support to GSA Region 10 in Auburn, WA. The facilities supported include Anchorage, AK,; Portland, OR; and Seattle, Auburn, and Spokane, WA. They provide data management for electronic document management system and facility information systems. The team reviews and validates the CAD drawings for conformance with GSA National CAD Standards, create new electronic facility drawing entries in the appropriate EDMS library, scan documents, prepare assignment drawings and perform updates to existing assignment drawings through the use of AutoCAD MAP 2008, prepare floor plans for all GSA owned Federal Buildings and Leased Buildings, and perform routine maintenance and upgrades.

CJS is awarded a contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District for Technical Information Processing Support
CJS provides a team to support the COE at the Walla Walla District providing high-level professional services in electronic publishing and document management for all divisions/offices at the District office. The deliverables for this task are also produced for Northwestern Division and other Districts, including on occasion Europe District. These performers form a bridge between District technical experts and their diverse audiences. They possess the ability to read, understand and edit products covering a variety of engineering and scientific disciplines; combining/rearranging material from different sources and inserting graphics, photographs and charts; producing finished products for internal use and public information.

CJS is awarded a contract with the Umatilla Army Depot, Hermiston, OR for Information Technology Support
CJS team is responsible for providing Help Desk, Desktop Support, Network LAN/WAN support and administration and web maintenance. Umatilla is on the BRAC list and will be closing in approximately 4 – 5 years but during that time with the Army and civilian personnel coming and going the network needs to continue to function. This team is responsible for moves, changes and deletes, providing proper sign-in logs for all personnel assigned to the Depot and insuring continuous support.

CJS prepared a Hazardous Materials Business Plan for a waste water treatment facility with numerous processes utilizing extremely hazardous materials.

CJS is awarded a subcontract with General Dynamic Information Technology at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach for Hazardous Waste Management and Training Support
CJS provided a Sr. Compliance Speciailist to conduct a Hazardous Waste management and operations audits at NWS Seal Beach, Corona, and Fallbrook. CJS also conducted a two day DOT Training course for the proper handling and documentation of hazardous waste from generation to disposal for a third party contractor.

CJS is awarded a Certificate of Commendation for Environmental Stewardship, Simi Valley, CA
The Simi Valley City Council presented two Certificates of Commendation for Environmental Stewardship at its April 20, 2009, meeting. The Certificates were presented to the Western Research Institute (WRI) of Laramie, Wyoming, in the field of Groundwater Remediation, and CJSeto Support Services of Ventura, California, in the field of Electronic Waste Recycling.
CJSeto Support Services pioneered an innovative business model allowing it to offer Electronic Waste Collection events to the residential and business community at no cost to the City of Simi Valley. At the collection events, volunteers welcome customers and CJSeto staffers collect and package the discarded electronics for transport to certified electronic recyclers. The events have provided services valued at over $47,000 at numerous electronic waste collection events in the City. The company has raised awareness for the need to properly and responsibly recycle electronic waste to reduce the volume of hazardous waste going to landfills. This program has assisted the City of Simi Valley in maintaining compliance with SB 939 and the solid waste diversion goals. Mr. Chet Seto, Managing Director, accepted the award for CJSeto Support Services.
