4ward Sciences, Inc

4ward Sciences, Inc. was founded in January of 2007. We are 100% employee owned. We have a unique approach to ownership by distributing value to our employees commensurate with their value to the organization. This is a much wider distribution of ownership than the typical employee owned company. We are a very young company comprised of personnel with extensive experience delivering services to all agencies of the Virtual SYSCOM. We have extensive contacts within program offices and acquisition commands and throughout industry. The combined experience of our staff is more than 245 years, almost entirely with the Navy, other services of the DoD, and other federal departments. Several of the technical staff of 4ward Sciences served on active duty and in senior levels of government service for the US Navy followed by many years in industry. We have a full administration staff to support our corporate functions, contracts and subcontracts administration, accounting, human resources, benefits administration, and information technology. We have extensive experience with fixed price, cost plus, and performance based contracting.
The experience base of 4ward Sciences is very broad. Our personnel have been active in executive and senior program management, research, systems engineering, software development, Independent Verification and Validation, systems integration, development and operational testing, operations, and life-cycle maintenance.  We have extensive experience in Seaport e specialties including fields as varied as sensors and surveillance algorithms, weapons and weapons systems, data links and interoperability, test ranges, information technology, meteorology, and geographic information systems.
